أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَبَلَةُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ بْ
نِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا، فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى "

English Translation
It was narrated from Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever campaigns in the cause of Allah and does not intend by his campaign except in exchange for a camel's halter cord, then he will have only what he intended.'
