Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِ
كِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، قالَ :" عُرِضْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ، فَمَنْ أَنْبَتَ الشَّعْرَ، قُتِلَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ، تُرِكَ "، فَكُنْتُ أَنَا مِمَّنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ الشَّعْرَ، فَلَمْ يَقْتُلُونِي. يَعْنِي : يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ

English Translation
Atiyyah al-Qurazi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'We were presented before the Prophet ﷺ that day: whoever had grown pubic hair was killed, and whoever had not grown it was spared' — and I was among those who had not grown hair, so they did not kill me. That refers to the day of Banu Qurayzah.
