Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَ
عِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَيَقُومُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُجْعَلَ الْمِنْبَرُ، فَلَمَّا جُعِلَ الْمِنْبَرُ، حَنَّ ذَلِكَ الْجِذْعُ حَتَّى سَمِعْنَا حَنِينَهُ، فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهِ، فَسَكَنَ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to lean against a tree trunk before the pulpit was made. When the pulpit was made and he ascended it, that trunk cried out with longing for him and the Prophet ﷺ embraced it until it settled down.'
