وَكَانَ عَلِيٌّ " يَرُدُّ عَلَى كُلِّ ذِي سَهْمٍ، إِلَّا الْمَرْأَةَ وَالزَّوْجَ "
English Translation
It was narrated that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to return (rad) the remainder to every heir with a fixed share — except the husband and wife.
