Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ : أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ، وَابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَا فِي وَلَدِ المُلَاعَنَة
ٍ تَرْكُ جَدَّتِهِ وَإِخْوَتِهِ لأُمِّهِ، قَالَ :" لِلْجَدَّةِ الثُّلُثُ، وَلِلْإِخْوَةِ الثُّلُثَانِ "، وَقَالَ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ : لِلْجَدَّةِ السُّدُسُ، وَلِلْإِخْوَةِ لِلْأُمِّ الثُّلُثُ، وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِبَيْتِ الْمَالِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Qatada that Ali and Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the child of a woman who invoked mutual imprecation (li'an), if he leaves his grandmother and uterine brothers: 'The grandmother gets a third and the brothers get two thirds.'
