Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ : " أَنَّ عَلِيًّا دَخَلَ عَلَى مَرِيضٍ، فَذَكَرُوا لَهُ الْوَصِيَّةَ، فَقال عَلِيٌّ :ق
َالَ اللَّهُ : # إِنْ تَرَكَ خَيْرًا سورة البقرة آية 180 #، وَلَا أُرَاهُ تَرَكَ خَيْرًا ". قَالَ حَمَّادٌ : فَحَفِظْتُ أَنَّهُ تَرَكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ سَبْعِ مِائَةٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hisham that his father said: 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) visited a sick man, and they mentioned making a will to him. 'Ali said: "Allah says: {if he leaves some good} (Quran 2:180), and I do not see that he has left any good." Hammad said: "I recall that he had left more than seven hundred."
