حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ : " فِي رَجُلٍ أ

َعْتَقَ غُلَامَهُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَلَيْسَ لَهُ غَيْرُهُ، وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ، قَالَ :يَسْعَى لِلْغُرَمَاءِ فِي ثَمَنِهِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from al-Sha'bi that he was asked about a man who freed his slave at the time of death while having no other property and having debts. He said: "The slave works to earn his sale price for the creditors."
