أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ ، عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ أَبِي خُثَ
يْمٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، قَالَ فِي الْعَقِيقَةِ :" عَنْ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافِئَتَانِ، وَعَنْ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O people of Madinah, do not eat the meat of sacrifice beyond three days.' Then the people came to him and he said: 'Eat, give in charity, and store it, for a time of hardship came last year and I wanted you to feed those in need, but now times have eased, so eat, give charity, and store.'
