Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْت
Body (Matn)
ِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَتْ :" أَكَلْنَا لَحْمَ فَرَسٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ "
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Rafi ibn Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, we are meeting the enemy tomorrow and we have no knives. He said: 'Hasten or use what causes the blood to flow and the name of Allah is mentioned over it. Eat it, but do not use a tooth or claw. I will tell you why: the tooth is a bone and the claw is the knife of the Ethiopians.'
