أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَن

ْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْلُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ، وَأَذِنَ فِي لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Rafi ibn Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that a camel ran away at the time of the Prophet ﷺ and they did not have horses, so a man shot it with an arrow and it stopped. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Among these camels are some that are wild like wild animals; if one of them gets away from you, do to it what you would do to a wild animal.'
