أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ

عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْقَتْلِ أَرْبَعَةٍ مِنْ الدَّوَابِّ : النَّمْلَةِ، وَالنَّحْلَةِ، وَالْهُدْهُدِ، وَالصُّرَدِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was dragging a sheep by its ear, and the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Leave its ear and take its neck.'
