أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفّ

َلٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَأَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " مَا بَالِي وَلِلْكِلَابِ؟ "، ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ فِي كَلْبِ الرَّعْيِ وَكَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ commanded the killing of dogs, then said: 'What do I have to do with dogs?' Then he permitted the dog used for herding and the hunting dog.
