أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَال

َ : سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّبِّ، فَقَالَ :" لَسْتُ بِآكِلِهِ وَلَا مُحَرِّمِهِ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ was asked about the dhabb (desert monitor lizard). He said: 'I do not eat it and I do not declare it forbidden.'
