حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَتَصَدَّقُ بِدِينَارٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَنِصْفُ دِينَارٍ

English Translation

Surayj narrated to us, Hammad, meaning Ibn Salamah, narrated to us, from 'Ata' al-'Attar, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He gives one dinar, or half a dinar in charity, or a handful of wheat, or a handful of barley, or a handful of dates as expiation — whoever has intercourse with his wife during her menstruation.'
