عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ وَطِئَ أَمَتَهُ فَوَلَدَتْ لَهُ فَهِيَ مُعْتَقَةٌ عَنْ دُبُرٍ

English Translation

Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Husayn, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever has intercourse with his slave woman and she bears him a child, then she becomes free upon his death (umm walad).'
