حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ

English Translation

Aswad ibn 'Amir narrated to us, Abu Bakr narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abdullah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever dislikes something from his leader, let him be patient, for whoever separates from the community by a handspan and then dies, dies the death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance).'
