English Translation
Abu al-Walid narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from 'Abd al-A'la, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Be cautious in narrating from me. Do not narrate from me except what you know. Whoever deliberately lies upon me, let him take his seat in the Hellfire. And whoever speaks about the Quran from his own opinion, let him take his seat in the Hellfire.'
