حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أ

َنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ أَوْلَادِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ إِذْ خَلَقَهُمْ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, Abu Bishr narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما that the Prophet ﷺ was asked about the children of the polytheists. He said: 'Allah knows best what they would have done.'
