English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that he said: 'I attended the [Eid] prayer on the day of Fitr with the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه), 'Umar (رضي الله عنه), and 'Uthman (رضي الله عنه) — all of them prayed it before the khutbah and then gave the khutbah afterward. the Prophet ﷺ of Allah (ﷺ) came down [from where he stood] — as if I can see him gesturing with his hand for the men to sit — then made his way through them until he came to the women, with Bilal (رضي الله عنه). He recited: "O Prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging allegiance to you..." [60:12] to the end of the verse. When he finished he said: "Are you committed to that?" One woman replied — no one else among them answered — "Yes, O Prophet of Allah." (Hasan did not know who she was.) He said: "Then give in charity." Bilal spread out his garment and said: "Come, may my father and mother be your ransom!" The women began throwing their large rings and [finger] rings into Bilal's garment.'
