English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that he said: 'I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ pray the Eid prayer and then give the khutbah. He thought the women had not heard [the sermon], so he went to them, admonished them, and said: "Give in charity." The women began throwing their rings, earrings, and other [jewelry]. He then commanded Bilal (رضي الله عنه) to gather it all into a garment until it was taken away [for distribution].'
