English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The people of Madinah enter ihram at Dhu'l-Hulayfah, the people of Syria at al-Juhfah, the people of Yemen at Yalamlam, and the people of Najd at Qarn. These are their miqats, and [also] for anyone who passes through them intending Hajj or 'Umrah who is not from those regions. Whoever lives closer to Makkah [than these miqats] enters ihram from his own home — until the people of Makkah, who enter ihram from Makkah itself.'
