English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibn Tawus from his father (Tawus) — that the Prophet ﷺ designated Dhu al-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria, Qarn for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. He said: 'These are their miqats, and for anyone else who passes through them intending Hajj or 'Umrah. Then [the miqat is] from wherever [the journey] begins' — until this ruling reached even the people of Makkah [who enter ihram from Makkah itself].
