English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Hassan al-A'raj — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Dhuhr at Dhu al-Hulayfah. A sacrificial camel was brought to him; he made a gash [ish'ar] in the right side of its hump [to mark it as a sacrifice], wiped away the blood, and garlanded it with two sandals. He then called for his riding camel, mounted it, and when it stood upright with him on al-Bayda', he entered ihram [pronouncing the talbiyah] for Hajj.
