حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْجَزَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّ
مَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي فَجَعَلَ جَدْيٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَعَلَ يَتَقَدَّمُ وَيَتَأَخَّرُ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ يَتَّقِيهِ وَيَتَأَخَّرُ حَتَّى يُرَى وَرَاءَ الْجَدْيِ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah and Hajjaj narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Yahya ibn al-Jazzar, from Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray on his traveling mount (rahilah) in whatever direction it faced, making gestures for the bowing and prostration, making the prostration lower than the bowing.
