حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلًى لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَئِنْ بَقِيتُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ لَأَصُومَنَّ الْيَوْمَ التَّاسِعَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abdullah ibn 'Umayr, freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If I remain alive until next year, I will certainly fast the ninth day [of Muharram as well — to differ from the Jews who fast only the tenth].'
