حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ

بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فَبَدَءُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Tawus — that he said: 'I witnessed the Eid prayer with the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما). They began with the prayer before the sermon.'
