English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ata' — that he [Ibn 'Abbas] did not consider it [a sunnah] to camp at al-Abtah [in Makkah], and said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only stopped there because of 'A'ishah [i.e., for her convenience, not as a religious rite].'
