حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَدَّ ابْنَتَهُ زَيْنَبَ عَلَى أَبِي الْعَاصِ زَوْجِهَا بِنِكَاحِهَا الْأَوَّلِ بَعْدَ سَنَتَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُحْدِثْ صَدَاقًا
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ikrimah — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned his daughter Zaynab to Abu al-'As, her husband, [renewing] their original marriage contract after two years, without establishing a new mahr.
