حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعْطِي الْمَرْأَةَ وَالْمَمْلُوكَ مِنْ الْمَغْنَمِ دُونَ مَا يُصِيبُ الْجَيْشُ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibn Abi Dhi'b — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give the woman and the slave a share of the spoils [of war], though less than what the [fighting] army received.
