English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no Muslim who visits his sick brother when his appointed time [of death] has not yet come, and says seven times: 'I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to heal so-and-so from his illness' — except that Allah (عز وجل) will heal him from it.'
