English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibn Abi Mulaykah — that he said: 'The prayer was about to begin [iqama called] and I had not yet prayed the two [sunnah] rak'ahs [before Fajr]. He [the Prophet ﷺ] saw me praying them, came close, and said: 'Do you want to pray the morning prayer as four [rak'ahs]?'' When Ibn 'Abbas was asked 'Is this [narrated] from the Prophet ﷺ?' he said: 'Yes.'
