حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَرْقَمِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ الْأَوْدِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ جَاءَ أَخَذَ مِنْ الْقِرَاءَةِ مِنْ حَيْثُ كَانَ بَلَغَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via al-Arqam ibn Shurahbil al-Awdi — that when the Prophet ﷺ arrived [at the prayer], he continued [leading] the recitation from where Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه) had reached.
