حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَنْبَأَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ikrimah — that Ibn 'Abbas said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew me close and embraced me, and said: 'O Allah, teach him the Book [i.e., the Quran].'
