ْوَتْرِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Mijlaz — that he asked Ibn 'Umar about witr. He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: One rak'ah at the end of the night.' He also said: 'I asked 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: One rak'ah at the end of the night.'
