حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمَّ
ارُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً سَبْعَ سِنِينَ يَرَى الضَّوْءَ وَالنُّورَ وَيَسْمَعُ الصَّوْتَ وَثَمَانِيَ سِنِينَ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ وَأَقَامَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا

English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, 'Ammar ibn Abi 'Ammar informed us, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Prophet ﷺ stayed in Makkah for fifteen years: for seven years he would hear voices and see visions, and for eight years revelation came to him openly. And he stayed in Madinah for ten years.
