حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ثُمَّ أَشْعَرَ الْهَدْيَ
جَانِبَ السَّنَامِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ أَمَاطَ عَنْهُ الدَّمَ وَقَلَّدَهُ نَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ نَاقَتَهُ فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ أَحْرَمَ قَالَ فَأَحْرَمَ عِنْدَ الظُّهْرِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِالْحَجِّ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Rawh and Abu Dawud [same meaning], from Hisham ibn Abi 'Abdullah, from Qatadah, from Abi Hassan al-A'raj — that the Prophet ﷺ of Allah (ﷺ) prayed at Dhu al-Hulayfa, then marked [ash'ar] the sacrificial animal [hady] on the right side of its hump, wiped the blood from it, hung two sandals [na'layn] around its neck as a garland, then mounted his she-camel. When she rose to her feet with him on al-Bayda', he entered ihram. He said: He entered ihram at the time of Dhuhr. Abu Dawud said: For Hajj.
