English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) — via Rawh, from Sa'id and 'Abd al-Wahhab, from Sa'id, from Qatadah, from Abi al-Tufayl — that Mu'awiya (رضي الله عنه) would not pass by any corner [rukn] of the House without touching it. Ibn 'Abbas said: 'the Prophet ﷺ of Allah (ﷺ) only touched these two corners.' Mu'awiya said: 'None of its corners are to be left untouched.' 'Abd al-Wahhab said: 'The two corners [are] the Yamani corner and the [Black] Stone.'
