English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan ibn 'Uyayna, from 'Asim, from Zirr — that Ibn Mas'ud said: 'From the Prophet ﷺ: The Hour will not come until a man from my household rules — his name corresponding to my name.' [The narrator] said: 'My father related it to us in his house, in his upper room. I believe one of the sons of Ja'far ibn Yahya — or Yahya ibn Khalid ibn Yahya — had asked him about it.'
