English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya, from Sulayman, from Zayd ibn Wahb — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: You will see after me preferential treatment [of rulers over themselves] and matters you disapprove of. We said: What do you command us [to do]? He said: Fulfill their [due] rights, and ask Allah for what is yours.'
