حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ابْنُ أُخْتِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي يَا آدَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَبْعَثَ بَعْثًا مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ إِلَى النَّارِ فَيَقُولُ آدَمُ يَا رَبِّ وَمِنْ كَمْ قَالَ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْع
َةً وَتِسْعِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ مَنْ هَذَا النَّاجِي مِنَّا بَعْدَ هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَا أَنْتُمْ فِي النَّاسِ إِلَّا كَالشَّامَةِ فِي صَدْرِ الْبَعِيرِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَجَرِيِّ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ وَقَالَ فَيَقُولُ آدَمُ يَا رَبِّ كَمْ أَبْعَثُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Ammar ibn Muhammad, nephew of Sufyan al-Thawri, from Ibrahim, from Abi al-Ahwas — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah (عز وجل) will send a caller on the Day of Resurrection calling: O Adam! Allah commands you to send out a group from your descendants to the Fire. Adam will say: My Lord, from how many? It will be said: From every hundred, ninety-nine. A man among the people said: Who among us will be saved after this, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Do you not realize that you among [all] the peoples are no more than like a mole on the chest of a camel?' — And [there is a second chain] via 'Ubayda, from Ibrahim ibn Muslim Abu Ishaq al-Hajari, with the same meaning, but saying: Adam will say: My Lord, how many shall I send out?
