English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Rib'iy, from al-Bara' ibn Najiya — that 'Abdullah narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'The millstone of Islam turns at thirty-five, or thirty-six, or thirty-seven [years]. If they perish — it is the way of those who have perished. And if their religion endures for them, it endures for them seventy years. [The narrator] said: I asked: Is that from what has passed or from what remains? He said: From what remains.' — [Another chain] via Ishaq, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Rib'iy ibn Hirash, from al-Bara' ibn Najiya al-Kahili, from Ibn Mas'ud, from the Prophet ﷺ — the same, except that it says: 'Umar asked him: O Messenger of Allah, is that from what has passed or from what remains? He said: From what remains.'
