حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّه
ِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَذِنْتُ لَكَ أَنْ تَرْفَعَ الْحِجَابَ وَتَسْمَعَ سِوَادِي حَتَّى أَنْهَاكَ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from al-Hasan — meaning Ibn 'Ubaydullah — from Ibrahim ibn Suwayd — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said [to me]: I have given you permission to lift the curtain and to hear my private conversation — until I forbid you.'
