English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) — via Hajjaj, from Sharik, from 'Asim, from Abi Wa'il — that 'Abdullah said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Jibril in his [true] form — with six hundred wings. Each of his wings covered the horizon. From his wings fell awesome things [taha'wil], and pearls, and rubies — to an extent that only Allah knows.'
