حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ فَهَمْزُهُ الْمُوتَةُ وَنَفْثُهُ الشِّعْرُ وَنَفْخُهُ الْكِبْرُ
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, and I heard it from 'Abdullah, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from 'Ata ibn al-Sa'ib, from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, from 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Recite the Quran in seven days and do not recite it in less than three days.'
