‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عِيسَى بْنُ دِينَارٍ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنِي ‏ ‏أَبِي ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ‏ ‏عَمْرَو بْنَ الْحَارِثِ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ‏ ‏عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏مَا صُمْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏تِسْعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْتُ مَعَهُ ثَلَاثِينَ ‏

English Translation

Muhammad ibn Sabiq narrated to us, 'Isa ibn Dinar narrated to us, my father narrated to me that he heard 'Amr ibn al-Harith saying: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه saying: 'I never fasted with the Prophet ﷺ twenty-nine days more often than I fasted thirty days.' [Meaning: Ramadan was more often twenty-nine days than thirty.]
