Hadith #410

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِس
ًا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَبِي مُوسَى وَهُمَا يَتَحَدَّثَانِ فَقَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامٌ يُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَنْزِلُ فِيهِنَّ الْجَهْلُ وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِنَّ الْهَرْجُ وَالْهَرْجُ الْقَتْلُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Shaqiq who said: I was sitting with 'Abdullah and Abu Musa while they were talking. They said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Before the Hour there will be days in which knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will prevail, and there will be much haraj.' And haraj means killing.
