حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي

النَّجُودِ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنْ تُدْرِكُهُ السَّاعَةُ وَهُمْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَمَنْ يَتَّخِذُ الْقُبُورَ مَسَاجِدَ

English Translation
Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, from 'Asim ibn Abi al-Najud, from Shaqiq, from 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) رضي الله عنه who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Indeed, among the worst of people are those whom the people honor merely to guard against their evil tongue.'
