حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ عَاص
ِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ وَلَأُنَازَعَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي وَلَأُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ لَيُقَالَنَّ لِي إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ

English Translation
Hashim and Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, they said: Shayban narrated to us, from 'Asim, from Abu Wa'il, from 'Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) رضي الله عنه who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I will be your predecessor at the Hawd (Pond). And indeed, men will be raised before me, then they will be taken away from me. I will say: O Lord, my Companions! It will be said: You do not know what they did after you.'
