English Translation
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from 'Abdullah ibn Murrah, from Abu al-Ahwas who said: 'Abdullah said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever swears an oath by which he intends to deprive a Muslim man of his wealth, he will meet Allah while He is angry with him.' Then 'Abdullah said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to us its confirmation from the Book of Allah: {Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter} [Al 'Imran 3:77].
