Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, al-Hasan narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq who said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from 'Abdullah who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give the salam to his right and to his left: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah — until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen from this side and from that side.'
